Expert Precision Engineering Ltd is a CNC machining company at Longbenton, Newcastle upon Tyne, established in 2018 and running a 24-hour double shift from Monday to Friday. Its plant includes six CNC lathes (three with live tooling), four CNC milling machines with 4th-axis attachments on three, three DMG 5-axis machining centres and Fanuc wire and spark erosion machines, working materials from plastics to nickel alloys for prototypes and production runs. Inspection uses two CMMs, and magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing is carried out in-house by PCN Level 3 qualified inspectors. Final assembly is offered, with coatings and painting arranged through its supply chain, for aerospace, defence, oil and gas, renewables, automotive, motorsport and marine customers.
