How to Use CNC Directory

A short guide for two audiences: companies looking to source UK CNC machining, and CNC machining companies looking to be found.

For Buyers

1. Start with a category or a search. Use the category links — CNC Milling, CNC Turning, 5-Axis & Multi-Axis Machining, Wire & Sinker EDM, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Design & Engineering (CAD/CAM), Prototyping & Rapid Machining, Finishing & Surface Treatment — to narrow the field, or search directly for a company or location.

2. Filter by what actually matters for your project. The filter panel covers:

Certifications — ISO 9001, AS9100 (aerospace), ISO 13485 (medical), ITAR and more
Services — from a single process through to full turnkey manufacture
Materials worked, machine capabilities, tolerance capability — the specific processes and precision a shortlist candidate needs to support
Order type / volume — prototype and fast-turn through to high-volume production
Industries supported — so you can find manufacturers with real experience in your sector

3. Read the listing, not just the name. Each listing shows a company's certifications, capabilities, headcount band, and a "Last Updated" date so you know how current the information is. Company registration numbers link through to Companies House where available.

4. Get in touch. Use the "Contact [Company]" button on any listing to reach out directly.

For CNC Machining Companies

Get listed. If your company isn't listed yet, submit your listing — it takes a few details (company name, website, contact info and address) to get started.

Manage your listing. Use Business Login to sign in or create an account and keep your listing current.

Keep your details accurate. Buyers filter heavily on certifications, services and industries served — an accurate, complete listing gets found by the right customers. If anything on your listing needs correcting, get in touch and we'll update it.
