MEC Precision Engineering Limited is a machining company in Barrow upon Soar, Leicestershire, offering CNC and conventional machining. CNC equipment includes a 3-axis vertical machining centre with a 1650 x 700 x 700 mm work envelope, a 4-axis vertical machining centre, a Mazak CNC lathe and a wire EDM machine. Conventional turning covers up to 1.5 m swing and 3 m between centres, with milling, horizontal boring, grinding, welding and fabrication also carried out. Work ranges from one-off prototypes and small batches to medium production runs, for sectors including aerospace, rail, marine and power generation.
