VES Precision is a Crewkerne, Somerset subcontract precision machining and EDM company established in 1991, originally set up to serve nearby aerospace customers Westland/Leonardo Helicopters and Honeywell Aerospace (Normalair Garrett). It operates a 5-axis CNC mill with pallet loading, 3 and 4-axis CNC mills, CNC turning and turn-milling, and more than 13 EDM machines, and describes itself as one of the UK's largest wire EDM providers to the aerospace industry. Additional services include surface and cylindrical grinding, lapping, surface blasting, CNC CMM inspection, CAD-CAM design, reverse engineering and refurbishment, and the company makes punch and die tooling for the packaging and pharmaceutical industries. Customers are in aerospace, automotive, marine, oil & gas, energy, rail, motorsport, packaging and food processing.
